Dr. Qihua Fan is a distinguished medical professional with extensive training and expertise in neurology and neuromuscular medicine. She earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, followed by an internship in the prestigious Osler Internal Medicine Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Fan continued her advanced training at Johns Hopkins, completing both her neurology residency and a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine.

Currently, Dr. Fan is a valued faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is board-certified in neuromuscular medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine, and is a diplomate in neuromuscular pathology. Her clinical interests focus on immune-mediated neuromuscular diseases, neuromuscular manifestations of amyloidosis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
