Gait apraxia: marche a petit pas

This 70-year-old man shows a shuffling gait with feet glued to the floor at initiation of walking. He walks with short, hesitant steps and normal arm swing during walking and crosses the barriers effectively. MRI revealed periventricular leukoariosis. (Contributed by Dr. Ravindra Kumar Garg.)
