Dystonia (generalized, DYT-TOR1A) treated with deep brain stimulation

This young man with DYT-TOR1A generalized dystonia has severe dystonia of the trunk and neck. He is moderately improved by bilateral globus pallidus deep brain stimulation. Jerky head movements are related to electrical stimulation. (Contributed by Dr. Joseph Jankovic.)
