Pituitary in granulomatosis with polyangiitis causing cavernous sinus syndrome and diabetes insipidus (sagittal MRI)

Dedicated thin-section sagittal contrast-enhanced T1-weighted image of the pituitary in a woman with granulomatosis with polyangiitis causing cavernous sinus syndrome and diabetes insipidus. There is abnormal generalized thickening and enhancement of the pituitary stalk (arrow) consistent with granulomatous infundibulitis.
