These images demonstrate a heterogenous signal and minimally enhancing mass within the cerebellar vermis consistent with a pilocytic astrocytoma. This mass was initially found in a young female at the age of 8 years, but subtle growth at age 16 (as shown here) resulted in resection of the mass.
