The clavicle has been resected. Some of the branches of the subclavian artery are shown, including those of the first part of the artery from its origin to the medial border of the scalenius anterior muscle: the vertebral artery, the thyrocervical trunk, and the internal mammary artery (also known as the internal thoracic artery).
