Ulnar nerve enlargement from compression at the elbow (ultrasound)

Ultrasound of the left ulnar nerve at the elbow, between the olecranon and medial epicondyle, demonstrates focal enlargement (26 mm2, normal range 4.2 to 8.8 mm2) with loss of normal fascicular architecture and hypoechogenicity. (Contributed by Dr. Elina Zakin.)
