Patient with rhinocerebral mucormycosis infection of her face (2)

This patient presented with a rhinocerebral mucormycosis infection of her face, caused by the fungal organism, Rhizopus arrhizus. Note the left eye proptosis, as well as ocular misalignment. The patient is being asked to look to the right, demonstrating medial rectus weakness on the left. In combination with the clinical setting and the patient's ptosis, she probably had an oculomotor nerve palsy (among other cranial nerve deficits).
