This brain MRI shows new scattered infarcts involving both cerebral hemispheres predominantly in a watershed distribution. There is also a more confluent area of infarct involving the left parietal-occipital region, which is also in a watershed territory. The patient was a 62-year-old woman who had a CABG following a recent myocardial infarction. (Courtesy of Dr. Jose Biller.)
