Labels taken from canisters of Zyklon B from the Dachau gas installation

Photograph taken April 7, 1946, by Alfred H Booth. The first and third panels contain the German Pest Control Company emblem and the brand name Zyklon. The center panel reads "Poison Gas!" "Cyanide Preparation! [skull and crossbones] to be opened and used only by trained personnel." The labels were used as evidence at the International Military Tribunal trial of war criminals at Nuremberg. (Source: U.S. National Archives. Public domain. Edited by Dr. Douglas J Lanska.)
