Fractional anisotropy maps show significant differences between patients with mild noise‐induced hearing loss, relatively severe noise‐induced hearing loss, and healthy controls. The red-yellow highlighted areas indicate lower fractional anisotropy values in the left inferior longitudinal fasciculus, left inferior fronto-occipital fasciculus, bilateral corticospinal tract, right fronto-pontine tract, right forceps major, left superior longitudinal fasciculus (temporal part), and left cingulum (hippocampus). The background image consists of the standard MNI T1-weighted template at 1 mm thickness and the fractional anisotropy skeleton (green).
