Psilocybe cubensis "magic mushrooms" contain the hallucinogenic neurotoxin psilocybin. Note the bluish coloration of the stipes (ie, the stems or stalk-like features supporting the caps of the mushrooms). Psilocybin degrades to compounds with a bluish color, and this occurs when the mushrooms have been bruised. "Shroom" dealers sometimes intentionally bruise their product to show that the "shrooms" are legitimate. (Photograph by Erik Fenderson on December 3, 2006. Public domain.)
