The mean strength of the three connections between patients with presbycusis and healthy controls were compared using a two-sample t-test. (A) In LOFC networks, no significant intergroup differences were observed in the mean strength of the three connections. (B) In HOFC networks, the mean strength of rich-club connections in patients with presbycusis was significantly higher than in healthy controls (p < 0.05). *indicates significant intergroup difference with P < 0.05.
