Foix-Chavany-Marie syndrome (MRI)

Postsurgical lesion following excision of an acute left subcortical frontal lobe hemorrhage associated with metastatic testicular cancer. This lesion caused inability to protrude the tongue on request, yet with normal tongue mobility while eating ice cream. (Contributed by Dr. Victor Mark.)
