(A) Fluid attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) signal abnormalities are seen throughout the posterior circulation region including the cerebellum and medulla (see white thin arrows) with associated restricted diffusion changes (not shown). (B) FLAIR/T2 signal abnormalities are seen in the mesial temporal lobe and superior cerebellum. (C) T1 post-contrast imaging demonstrates corresponding leptomeningeal enhancement in a similar distribution to the T2 hyperintensities along the margins of the basal cisterns (thick white arrow).
