Young male presents to the ER with a 4-day history of headaches and language difficulty. Axial unenhanced CT images of the head show high attenuation within the dural venous sinus compatible with sinus thrombosis. Clot is evident within the superior sagittal sinus (single black arrow). A cortical vein also shows evidence of thrombosis over the vertex (A). High attenuation extends along the left transverse sinus (double black arrow heads) and left sigmoid sinus (white arrow). Note that the delta sign is not present on this study. (Contributed by Dr. Diana Gomez-Hassan.)
