In a 26-year-old female with medically refractory focal seizures, coronal oblique spoiled gradient (A) and fluid attenuated inversion recovery images (B) show the atrophy and increased signal within the left hippocampal formation (shown by arrows) that is characteristic of hippocampal sclerosis.
