Galvani's experiments with the effects of electricity of frog legs (1)

Galvani's experiments with static electricity transmitted to the spinal cords of decapitated frogs. Some of the frog legs are open to the air, and others are sealed in jars but still connected to wires passing through a cork at the top. Note the electrostatic machine (left table top) charging a disembodied hand. Note also the Leyden jar on the table (right).
