Diffusion-weighted imaging sequence in a patient with acute ischemic stroke of the fornix shows restricted diffusion involving the columns of the fornix, the corpus callosum, and the right caudate nucleus. These structures are included in the vascular territory of the subcallosal artery (ie, fornix and corpus callosum) and the right recurrent artery of Heubner (ie, caudate head).
