Ernest Septimus Reynolds (1861-1926)

Dr. Ernest Septimus Reynolds, Assistant Physician to the Manchester Royal Infirmary and Visiting Physician to the Manchester Workhouse Infirmary, announced "an epidemic of peripheral neuritis amongst beer drinkers in Manchester and district" and attributed this to arsenic poisoning.
