T2-weighted axial section through C6-C7, suggesting a broad-based disc bulge with left C7 foraminal herniation. The disc effaces the thecal sac without deforming the cord. Although the patient's symptoms corresponded to compression of the left C7 root, the study was felt to be inconclusive. (Contributed by Dr. Saul Schwarz.)
