AP spinal x-ray of a 2-year-old boy with infantile scoliosis

This is an x-ray of a young child with idiopathic infantile scoliosis. Genetic testing and MRI scans of the brain and spinal cord were normal. He had a right thoracic curve with a Cobb angle measuring 53.7 degrees. Despite Risser casting, his scoliosis has progressed severely. (Contributed by Dr. Daniel Bonthius.)
