AP spinal x-ray of a 2-year-old boy with infantile scoliosis, following placement of MAGEC (MAGnetic Expansion Control) rods, spanning from T4 to L3. Screws are inserted into the vertebral pedicles bilaterally. Following placement of the hardware, the patient's scoliotic curve was reduced and stabilized. (Contributed by Dr. Daniel Bonthius.)
