Preoperative lateral C-spine x-ray of a 56-year-old man with C5-6, C6-7 spondylosis presenting with myeloradiculopathy. The spine is normally aligned but straightened, with loss of normal lordotic curve. There are moderately severe spondylotic changes at the C5-6 disc space, narrowing with anterior and posterior spurring. At C6-7 the disc space is chronically collapsed, with anterior and more severe posterior spurring compromising the spinal canal. (Contributed by Dr. Saul Schwarz.)
