The optic disc is still somewhat swollen. Dense irregular bands of pigment clumping within the retinal pigment epithelium surround the disc. An area of orange discoloration from loss of melanin in the pigment epithelium is seen just to the right and above the dark pigment band that crosses above the 2 o'clock position of the disc margin.
